Description

  • Five-day course
  • Attendees will receive a marksmanship proficiency evaluation, in addition to receiving training in marksmanship, target identification and an introduction to basic combat shooting skills.
  • Enhance the techniques used in planning and conducting a high-risk arrest.
  • Lecture on mental processing and stress management in a high-risk encounter.
  • Controlling and handcuffing an individual in an arrest situation.
  • High risk vehicle stops
  • Practical exercises consist of arrest scenarios with two or more officers.

(*Course is enhanced with the use of simunition weapons) (750 rounds)

Note:  The costs associated with the use of Simunition weapons, ammunition and protective gear is in addition to the registration fee for the course (if equipment is rented from CATS).
